This part-time role offers an exceptional opportunity to work alongside experienced professionals across various teams, including Air Operations, Client and Business Development, Infrastructure and Services, and People and Finance. As an integral member of our innovation ecosystem, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and effectiveness of the applications and systems that our airline crew and pilots use daily. This position provides hands-on experience in business analysis, process improvement, technical testing, and cross-functional collaboration, making it an ideal launchpad for a career in aviation innovation or business analysis. --- ## Key Responsibilities Your responsibilities as an Innovation Analyst will encompass a wide range of strategic and tactical activities designed to drive innovation and operational excellence across Arenaflex. You will work closely with business stakeholders, technical teams, and product owners to analyze requirements,测试 applications, and implement solutions that enhance our operational capabilities. Specifically, your key responsibilities will include: - Conducting comprehensive requirements analysis for new systems and business processes, collaborating with business clients to identify pain points, oportunidades de mejora, and functional requirements that enable the development of high-quality technical solutions. - Analyzing and documenting business processes, workflows, and system requirements to ensure alignment with internal tooling, departmental standards, and organizational objectives, while maintaining meticulous attention to detail and accuracy. - Managing end-to-end project timelines for planning, coding, testing, and implementation phases, ensuring that all solutions are delivered on time, within budget, and according to established quality standards. - Serving as a vital liaison between business and innovation teams, facilitating effective communications, translating technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders, and ensuring seamless collaboration across departments. - Participating actively in system integration, user acceptance testing, and quality assurance activities, working with Scrum Masters, Engineers, and Product Owners to validate application functionality and identify areas for improvement. - Contributing to the Quality Management Office initiatives by evaluating the quality of applications used by airline staff and pilots, ensuring that all tools meet the highest standards of reliability, usability, and performance. - Supporting the Southwest Vacations (SWAV) team in developing innovative, revenue-generating products that expand Arenaflex's presence in the travel and hospitality sector, providing analytical insights that drive strategic decision-making. - Assisting with metrics compilation and analysis to showcase progress, identify trends, and provide management with actionable insights into testing status, project milestones, and operational efficiency. - Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives by identifying process optimization opportunities, recommending best practices, and supporting the adoption of Agile methodologies across innovation teams. - Engaging in collaborative projects with fellow innovation team members and cross-functional workgroups, fostering a culture of knowledge sharing, mentorship, and professional growth. --- ## Essential Qualifications To succeed in this role, you must possess a strong foundation of skills, knowledge, and attributes that enable you to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic innovation environment. The following qualifications are essential for this position: - Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, is required. Advanced skills in Excel (including data analysis, pivot tables, and formulas) are highly preferred. - Solid understanding of business analysis principles, process modeling, and process improvement methodologies.
