Key Responsibilities
- Deliver courteous, efficient, and accurate service to every guest, ensuring a positive and lasting impression.
- Operate the cash register and POS system to process purchases, returns, exchanges, discounts, and special transactions with precision.
- Proactively engage customers, greet them warmly, and offer assistance with product selection, promotions, and upselling opportunities.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and well‑stocked sales floor, including regular shelf replenishment, merchandising, and product rotation (FIFO).
- Assist with inventory control procedures, such as receiving shipments, conducting stock counts, and reporting discrepancies.
- Adhere to all state and local regulations concerning controlled substances, alcohol, and tobacco products, ensuring compliance at all times.
- Support the photo department by operating photo kiosks, handling photo printing, and assisting customers with custom photo projects.
- Execute online order fulfillment tasks, including order picking, packaging, and notifying customers of order status.
- Participate in loss‑prevention initiatives, following arenaflex’s security protocols to minimize shrinkage.
- Collaborate with teammates and management to uphold arenaflex’s service standards, share best practices, and contribute to a positive work environment.
- Complete assigned training modules, certifications, and ongoing professional development as directed by store leadership.
- Perform additional duties and special projects as needed to support store operations and seasonal initiatives.
Essential Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED required; a Bachelor’s degree is a plus.
- Experience: Minimum six months of experience in a retail or customer‑service setting, preferably within a pharmacy or health‑care environment.
- Communication: Strong reading, writing, and verbal communication skills in English.
- Availability: Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Technical Proficiency: Comfortable using point‑of‑sale systems, inventory software, and basic computer applications.
- Compliance Awareness: Understanding of and ability to follow state and local regulations for controlled items.
