As a key member of the content team, you will collaborate with engineers, product managers, and other editors to produce high‑quality documentation that supports both internal stakeholders and external customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Content Creation & Editing: Draft, edit, and proofread technical documents, user guides, API references, and data‑entry forms related to arenaflex cloud services.
  • Quality Assurance: Enforce style guides, maintain consistency with the Chicago Manual of Style, and ensure all content meets arenaflex’s high standards for clarity and accuracy.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross‑functional teams—including engineers, product owners, and UX designers—to gather information, clarify technical details, and incorporate feedback.
  • Workflow Management: Coordinate content lifecycles, track progress across multiple projects, and prioritize tasks to meet tight deadlines.
  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline documentation processes, propose enhancements to style guides, and adopt best practices for efficient content production.
  • Tool Utilization: Leverage Markdown, content management systems, and version‑control tools to author and maintain documentation.
  • Customer Advocacy: Ensure documentation addresses real‑world user scenarios, reduces support tickets, and enhances the overall customer experience.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in English, Communications, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • At least 7 years of experience in technical editing, technical writing, or content management, preferably within a cloud‑focused environment.
  • Demonstrated experience creating or editing technical documentation for engineering teams or architecture groups.
  • Proficiency with Markdown and familiarity with content management platforms (e.g., Confluence, SharePoint, or similar).
  • Strong command of English grammar, punctuation, and style, with an eye for detail.

Preferred Qualifications & Skills

  • Experience managing large‑scale content projects, including prioritization and stakeholder communication.
  • Ability to influence cross‑functional teams, drive consensus, and maintain momentum on documentation initiatives.
  • Knowledge of the Chicago Manual of Style and practical application of style guidelines in technical contexts.
  • Excellent collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively across distributed teams and time zones.
  • Capacity to thrive in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment while handling multiple concurrent priorities.
  • Quick learner of new tools and technologies, with a proactive approach to staying current on industry trends.

Core Competencies

  • Analytical Thinking: Ability to dissect complex technical concepts and translate them into clear, concise documentation.
  • Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information to both technical and non‑technical audiences.
  • Attention to Detail: Meticulous approach to editing, ensuring error‑free and consistent content.
  • Project Management: Proven track record of managing documentation projects from inception to delivery.
  • Adaptability: Comfortable navigating evolving priorities and shifting business needs.
  • Customer‑Centric Mindset: Focus on creating documentation that solves real user problems and enhances satisfaction.
