Our client is a international firm of tech consultancy that is working for a retailer developing a high‐performance, internet‐facing API designed to operate seamlessly across both on‐premises environments and the cloud. We are looking for engineers with a strong technical foundatio n, for whom principles like the CAP theorem are not just academic concepts but practical tools used to reason about real‐world systems. 8+ years in Java backend enginee ring, includ ing 3+ years hands-on with reactive program m ing (e.G., Bu ild high-throughput, low-latency APIs with a pragmatic approach to performance, clean design, and real-world trade-offs.
