Role Overview – Remote Part‑Time Customer Experience Associate

As a Remote Part‑Time Customer Experience Associate, you will be the front‑line voice of arenaflex, delivering empathetic, detail‑oriented solutions across multiple communication channels. This role is ideal for individuals who thrive in a fast‑paced, seasonal environment and who love fashion, technology, and helping people feel their best.

Key aspects of the role include:

  • Approximately 20 hours per week, with flexible scheduling to match seasonal demand (15‑29 hours/week).
  • Four‑week virtual onboarding (Monday‑Friday, 9:30 am‑4 pm EST) followed by a competency assessment.
  • Multiple shift options to accommodate a variety of personal schedules.
  • Remote work – candidates must be permanent residents of one of the eligible U.S. states (see eligibility list below).

Shift Options (All Times EST)

  • Saturday‑Tuesday: 9:00 am‑2:00 pm
  • Sunday‑Wednesday: Sunday 1:00 pm‑6:00 pm & Mon‑Wed 2:00 pm‑7:00 pm
  • Monday‑Friday: 4:00 pm‑8:00 pm
  • Mon/Tue/Thu/Fri: 2:00 pm‑7:00 pm
  • Wed‑Saturday: Wed‑Fri 2:00 pm‑7:00 pm & Saturday 1:00 pm‑6:00 pm

Eligibility – Where You Can Live

To maintain compliance with state‑specific labor regulations, remote candidates must be permanent residents of one of the following states:

Compensation

Compensation is non‑negotiable and varies by location:

  • $16 per hour for MA, CO, OR, TX, IL, AZ, VA, FL
  • $14.50 per hour for TN, KS

What You’ll Do – Core Responsibilities

  • Deliver exceptional service across arenaflex’s communication channels – live chat, phone, SMS, and email – while building lasting relationships with members.
  • Act as a brand ambassador, championing arenaflex’s core values of democratizing fashion and sustainability.
  • Maintain deep product knowledge of arenaflex’s inventory, including fit, style, and availability, to guide customers toward the perfect selections.
  • Assist customers in discovering styles that align with their personal taste and event needs, offering personalized recommendations.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues with care and respect, listening actively and providing creative, solution‑focused outcomes.
  • Meet quality and productivity goals while delivering a personalized, high‑touch experience.
  • Share feedback with teammates and leadership to continuously improve the arenaflex customer journey.
  • Contribute to a positive team culture by embodying empathy, energy, and collaboration.

Who You Are – Essential Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a customer‑focused environment (e.g., retail, hospitality, call‑center, or e‑commerce).
  • Demonstrated ability to solve problems quickly and make sound decisions under pressure.

  • Proven multitasking skills – comfortable handling three simultaneous chat conversations while preserving service quality.

Preferred Qualifications & Technical Aptitude

  • Technical fluency with G Suite, Google Chrome, Slack, Zoom, and other cloud‑based collaboration tools.
  • Experience with CRM or ticketing platforms (e.g., Zendesk, Freshdesk) is a plus.
  • High‑speed internet (minimum 10 Mbps) and a reliable home workstation – arenaflex provides a laptop and headset.
  • Familiarity with fashion terminology, styling concepts, or subscription‑based retail models.
