  • Process & Technology Optimization: Lead the design and implementation of scalable operational processes and technology platforms that improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance data quality.
  • Strategic Planning & Execution: Partner with the executive team to define multi‑year growth strategies, set measurable goals, and ensure cross‑functional alignment.

  • Risk & Compliance Oversight: Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements, internal controls, and industry best practices across all operational domains.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Serve as the primary liaison for the Board of Directors, Audit Committee, and external investors; communicate performance, risks, and strategic initiatives clearly and transparently.
  • Continuous Improvement: Champion Lean, Six Sigma, and other improvement methodologies to drive quality, speed, and cost‑effectiveness.
  • Innovation Enablement: Collaborate with the Product and Engineering teams to translate market insights into actionable operational capabilities.

Essential Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field (required). A Master’s degree (MBA, MS) is highly preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years of progressive leadership experience, with at least 5 years in a senior operational or COO‑type role within a fast‑growing technology or services organization.

  • Strong financial acumen, including experience with annual external audit processes, financial modeling, and capital allocation.
  • Proven ability to lead large, matrixed teams across multiple geographies and functional areas.
  • Exceptional communication and influencing skills, with experience presenting to boards, investors, and senior leadership.
  • Deep understanding of payroll, HR technology, or related SaaS business models is a distinct advantage.

  • Background in both domestic and international regulatory compliance for payroll and HR services.
  • Hands‑on experience with ERP, CRM, and data‑analytics platforms (e.g., NetSuite, Salesforce, Tableau).
  • Public speaking and thought‑leadership experience, including conference presentations and industry panels.
