Key Responsibilities

• Data Submission & Reporting: Ensure timely and accurate submission of monthly FAA reports and other regulatory filings.
• IDCAT Administration: Manage all aspects of the Integrated Data Collection and Analysis Tool (IDCAT) software, including user support, comment tracking, and data entry for Flight Instructors and Evaluators.
• Dashboard Development: Download raw data to the arenaflex server, populate and maintain Tableau dashboards, and create visualizations that highlight trends and performance metrics.
• Data Analysis & Storytelling: Analyze flight safety data, identify gaps in training effectiveness, and present findings to senior leadership and the Data Integration Group (DIG).
• Support for Advanced Qualification Program (AQP): Provide analytical assistance for quarterly data reviews, inter‑rater reliability assessments, and AQP documentation as outlined in the Advanced Qualification Program Manual (AQPM).
• Administrative Coordination: Assist with IDCAT form configuration, generate data collection reports, and support the day‑to‑day operations of the Flight Ops Safety team.
• Cross‑Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Flight Operations, Training, Safety, and IT teams to ensure data integrity and alignment with corporate objectives.
• Ad‑hoc Projects: Take on special assignments from supervisors, contributing analytical expertise to a variety of initiatives across arenaflex.

Essential Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Data Science, Aviation Management, Statistics, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of hands‑on experience with data analysis, visualization, and reporting.
• Proficiency in Tableau (or comparable BI tools) and strong familiarity with data extraction, transformation, and loading processes.
• Demonstrated ability to manage large, complex datasets and produce clear, concise visual narratives.
• Intermediate statistical knowledge, including hypothesis testing, regression analysis, and descriptive statistics.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present technical information to non‑technical audiences.
• U.S. citizenship or valid work authorization; sponsorship is not available.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in the airline or aviation industry, particularly with flight operations or safety programs.
• Hands‑on experience with Alteryx, Power BI, or similar data‑prep tools.
• Familiarity with FAA regulations (e.g., AC 120‑54A) and the Advanced Qualification Program framework.
• Previous exposure to IDCAT or similar data collection platforms.
• Strong project management skills and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast‑paced environment.
