Technical Service Specialist - Poultry

The role works closely with Sales, Marketing, Regulatory, and Innovation teams to deliver customer-centric nutritional solutions and high-quality technical support. Operating in a highly matrixed and customer-facing environment, the position combines strong scientific expertise with practical field application. The team plays a key role in advancing Novonesis’ purpose by helping customers improve animal performance, gut health, and sustainability through the effective use of biological solutions. Main Responsibilities This is a hybrid tactical and strategic role with strong customer engagement. Key responsibilities include: Provide expert technical support in poultry nutrition, with strong emphasis on enzyme solutions Optimize the use and positioning of products in broiler, layer, and breeder diets Support customer troubleshooting, performance improvement, and on-site technical assistance Design, support, and analyze field trials, generating actionable insights Develop technical documentation, customer presentations, and training materials Collaborate with internal stakeholders, providing market feedback to Sales, Marketing, Regulatory, and Innovation teams The role operates at a regional or territory level, closely aligned with commercial priorities and customer needs. Experience & Education Required: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Animal Nutrition, Veterinary Medicine, Zootechnics, or related field PhD, strong specialization, or equivalent proven expertise in poultry nutrition Strong experience in poultry nutrition Solid experience with feed enzymes (mandatory) Background in feed mills, poultry integrators, or production systems Proven experience in technical customer support and field activities Strong knowledge of poultry nutrition, formulation, enzymes, probiotics, and gut health Ability to interpret scientific data and apply it practically Advanced English and fluent Spanish Preferred: Experience with large integrators (especially in Mexico) Experience with field trials (design, execution, analysis) Exposure to sustainability initiatives Participation in technical publications or industry conferences Experience in multinational or complex commercial environments Our purpose guides the way In Novonesis, we know that solutions rooted in biology can help solve humanity’s biggest challenges.
