In this role, you will craft and execute a comprehensive D&I strategy for our external game portfolio, championing accessibility, representation, and cultural relevance across every title we bring to market. You will partner with senior leadership, product managers, creative leads, and external development studios to embed inclusive design principles from concept through launch.

Key Responsibilities

  • Leadership & Advocacy: Inspire and guide cross‑functional teams to integrate D&I objectives into sourcing, development, and design pipelines, ensuring that inclusion is a core pillar of every project.
  • Collaboration with Studios: Work closely with external development partners to embed inclusive design requirements, provide accessibility guidance, and monitor compliance throughout production cycles.
  • Program Management: Oversee day‑to‑day operations of D&I initiatives, applying structured methodologies to track progress, mitigate risks, and report outcomes to senior leadership.
  • Team Supervision: Lead a small, high‑performing team of project managers and producers focused on accessibility, fostering a culture of mentorship, continuous learning, and impact‑driven results.
  • Industry Partnerships: Build and nurture relationships with key industry groups—including arenaflex, arenaflex, and arenaflex—to amplify underrepresented voices and expand opportunities for diverse creators.
  • Data‑Driven Insight: Leverage data entry and analytics to measure the effectiveness of D&I programs, identify gaps, and inform iterative improvements.
  • Thought Leadership: Represent arenaflex at conferences, panels, and internal forums, championing inclusive gaming and influencing broader industry standards.

Essential Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of hands‑on experience driving diversity, inclusion, and accessibility initiatives within the gaming industry.
  • Proven track record of designing and implementing D&I strategies that deliver tangible outcomes in mobile and PC game development environments.
  • Deep understanding of inclusive game design methodologies, accessibility standards (e.g., WCAG, ESRB), and how to translate high‑level concepts into actionable project plans.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead through influence, building strong relationships across product, engineering, creative, and external studio teams.
  • Strong knowledge of emerging trends in inclusion, accessibility, and representation across new media, technology, and entertainment sectors.
  • Exceptional problem‑solving skills, with a knack for developing creative solutions and turning ideas into executable roadmaps.
  • Passionate gamer with a genuine love for playing and developing video games, coupled with a commitment to making those experiences accessible to all.

Preferred Qualifications & Skills

  • Experience managing budgets and allocating resources for large‑scale D&I programs.
  • Background in project management or product development, with certifications such as PMP or Agile Scrum Master considered a plus.
  • Familiarity with data‑entry platforms, CRM tools, and analytics software to track inclusion metrics.
  • Excellent communication and presentation abilities, capable of articulating complex concepts to diverse audiences.
  • Demonstrated success in influencing industry standards or contributing to policy development around accessibility.

Core Competencies for Success
