Remote · USA Full-time New today

About the Opportunity

Are you a detail-oriented professional with a passion for digital media, streaming entertainment, and the inner workings of content management systems? arenaflex is searching for a meticulous and dependable Remote Data Entry Specialist – Digital Content Cataloging & Metadata Management to join our growing, distributed workforce. This part-time, fully remote position offers the rare opportunity to contribute directly to the backbone of one of the world’s most-watched streaming platforms, all from the comfort of your own home.

In this role, you will be entrusted with the critical responsibility of inputting, verifying, and maintaining the metadata that powers the viewing experience for millions of subscribers across the globe. Every title, description, genre tag, and classification you help curate will reach screens in living rooms, on commutes, and in countless other moments of daily life. If you thrive in a structured yet dynamic digital environment and find satisfaction in the precision of well-organized data, this position is designed for you.

At arenaflex, we believe that exceptional data stewardship is what transforms a content library into a world-class entertainment experience. That’s why we’re looking for individuals who bring not just speed and accuracy, but also curiosity, dedication, and a commitment to continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

As a Data Entry Specialist working remotely for arenaflex, your day-to-day contributions will be essential to the smooth operation of our content delivery pipeline. Your primary duties will include, but are not limited to:

  • Accurately inputting, editing, and updating detailed information related to digital streaming content, including titles, episode descriptions, synopses, cast and crew credits, release dates, language metadata, and other classification data.
  • Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams—including content operations, quality assurance, localization, and editorial groups—to maintain data integrity across multiple platforms and resolve any discrepancies in metadata records.
  • Conducting routine quality audits and consistency checks to ensure all content information aligns with the established content standards, editorial guidelines, and compliance protocols of arenaflex.
  • Assisting in the organization, cataloging, and archiving of digital assets, ensuring efficient retrieval and seamless integration into the broader content management system.
  • Staying informed on updates to internal content policies, taxonomies, and platform changes, and proactively contributing ideas for process improvements and workflow optimization.
  • Flagging inconsistencies, missing data, or potential errors to supervisors and collaborating on solutions that uphold the highest standards of data quality.
  • Maintaining organized records of completed tasks, pending assignments, and any issues encountered during the data entry process.

What You Will Do Day-to-Day

In this hands-on, remote role, your daily activities will involve a balanced mix of focused data input, team communication, and quality control. Specifically, you will:

  • Utilize proprietary and third-party data entry tools, content management systems, and specialized software to input, modify, and manage content information with speed and accuracy.
  • Work collaboratively with team members and supervisors via digital communication platforms—such as Slack, Microsoft Teams, or email—to streamline data entry workflows and enhance overall operational efficiency.
  • Maintain a sharp, detail-oriented mindset, double-checking entries to ensure the accuracy, completeness, and proper formatting of every piece of data you handle.
  • Communicate proactively and effectively with internal stakeholders, addressing queries, providing metadata support, and escalating concerns as needed to maintain project momentum.
  • Adapt to evolving project requirements, shifting priorities, and new content categories as the platform expands its library and global reach.
  • Participate in virtual team meetings, training sessions, and knowledge-sharing activities that foster a connected remote work culture.
