Position Overview: Customer Data Platform Product Leader

arenaflex is seeking an experienced and technically adept Customer Data Platform (CDP) Product Leader to join our remote team. In this critical role, you will be instrumental in managing and optimizing arenaflex's Real-time Customer Data Platform built on Adobe Experience Platform. This is an excellent opportunity for a technical professional with a passion for data management and a talent for translating complex technical concepts into actionable business strategies. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure our CDP operates at peak performance, driving customer insights and personalization across all touchpoints.

Key Responsibilities

  • Platform Management & Optimization: Oversee the daily operations, configuration, and continuous improvement of arenaflex's Adobe Experience Platform (AEP) Real-time CDP to meet evolving business requirements
  • Technical Leadership: Provide expert guidance on platform development, implementation, and maintenance, ensuring optimal performance and scalability
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Serve as the technical liaison between IT, marketing, and other business units, translating complex technical concepts into business-relevant insights
  • Troubleshooting & Problem Resolution: Identify, investigate, and resolve technical issues related to the CDP, implementing effective solutions in a timely manner
  • Strategic Planning: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align technology implementations with business objectives and long-term digital strategy
  • Technical Training: Develop and deliver comprehensive training programs to upskill internal teams on effective platform utilization and best practices
  • Vendor Relationship Management: Liaise with Adobe Support and third-party consulting agencies to coordinate product updates, resolve complex issues, and explore new platform capabilities
  • Platform Governance: Conduct regular audits and assessments to ensure compliance with data governance policies and optimal platform utilization
  • Industry Expertise: Stay current with the latest trends, features, and best practices in CDP technology and digital experience platforms

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical certifications or degrees are preferred
  • Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in technical data management and marketing solution implementation
  • Technical Skills: Strong technical proficiency with Adobe Experience Platform or equivalent CDP technologies
  • Problem-Solving: Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues independently
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
  • Analytical Thinking: Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
  • Security Awareness: Commitment to maintaining data security, privacy, and compliance with relevant regulations
  • Collaboration: Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams and diverse work environments
  • Legal Requirements: Minimum 18 years of age with authorization to work in the United States

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Computer Science, Data Science, or related field
  • Platform Experience: Hands-on experience with Customer Data Platforms including Adobe Experience Platform, Salesforce C360, or Segment
  • Enterprise Systems: Proven track record of successfully implementing and managing complex enterprise-level systems
  • Data Governance: In-depth understanding of data governance principles and data management best practices
  • Industry Experience: Previous experience in large-scale e-commerce or digital business environments with a focus on customer journey optimization
  • Project Management: Experience leading technology implementation projects from conception to completion
  • Change Management: Demonstrated success in driving adoption and managing change across organizations
