Role Overview

As a Part‑Time Remote Customer Service & Freight Operations Specialist at arenaflex, you will join a dynamic, collaborative team dedicated to safeguarding and moving goods efficiently. You will work flexible hours ranging from 20 to 40 hours per week, primarily from home, while occasionally supporting on‑site activities when required. The position blends customer interaction, logistical coordination, and hands‑on handling of freight in a safe, compliant environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Freight Handling: Safely lift, load, unload, and transport baggage, mail, and cargo to and from aircraft, ensuring timely connections and adherence to scheduled flight operations.
  • Protection & Security: Guard freight, baggage, and mail against damage, loss, and adverse weather conditions by following established safety protocols.
  • Equipment Operation: Operate ground support equipment such as tugs, belt loaders, and tow tractors safely and efficiently in congested ramp areas.
  • Package Management: Continuously lift and move packages onto trucks, verifying that each shipment reaches its intended destination without error.
  • Technology Utilization: Use scanners, computers, and tracking systems to accurately route items to the correct flight and destination.
  • Safety Practices: Consistently apply safety‑aware behaviors throughout all operational cycles and procedures, maintaining a zero‑incident mindset.
  • Customer Interaction: Provide courteous, solution‑focused assistance to internal and external customers, addressing inquiries related to cargo status, handling procedures, and service expectations.
