As a company that values compassion, innovation, and continuous learning, arenaflex provides a supportive environment where new talent can thrive, even from the comfort of their own home.

Role Overview

We are looking for enthusiastic, customer‑focused individuals to join our remote workforce as Data Entry & Patient Support Specialists. This entry‑level position is perfect for candidates who are eager to start a career in pharmacy services, health care, or retail operations without prior experience. You will be the first point of contact for patients seeking medication guidance, health‑screening information, and assistance with prescription fulfillment. Your primary responsibilities will revolve around accurate data entry, compassionate patient interaction, and supporting the pharmacy team in maintaining compliance with state and federal regulations.

Key Responsibilities

Patient Experience & Communication

  • Greet patients warmly via phone, chat, or video, and proactively offer assistance with prescription‑related questions.
  • Provide clear, empathetic explanations about medication usage, side effects, drug interactions, and generic alternatives.
  • Address patient concerns promptly, ensuring each interaction ends with a positive experience and a clear next step.
  • Model best practices for customer service, demonstrating active listening, eye contact (when video is used), and a genuine desire to help.
  • Participate in virtual community outreach events organized by arenaflex to promote health awareness and pharmacy services.

Data Entry & Pharmacy Operations

  • Accurately input prescription orders, refill requests, and patient information into arenaflex’s pharmacy management system.
  • Perform basic pharmacy tasks such as verifying prescription details, checking for potential drug interactions, and ensuring compliance with controlled‑substance regulations.
  • Assist with medication compounding, labeling, and inventory checks under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist.
  • Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of arenaflex’s internal policies, state pharmacy laws, and federal regulations to guarantee safe medication handling.
  • Support the pharmacy manager in daily operational tasks, including opening/closing procedures, shift handovers, and workflow optimization.

Quality Assurance & Compliance

  • Conduct routine audits of prescription records to verify accuracy and completeness.
  • Ensure all documentation related to controlled substances follows the “Honest Intentions” allocation strategy and state guidelines.
  • Collaborate with insurance providers and clinical partners to resolve billing issues and clarify prescription details.
  • Participate in virtual quality‑control reviews, providing feedback that helps improve overall pharmacy performance.

Team Collaboration & Development

  • Work closely with the pharmacy manager to recruit, train, and mentor new remote associates.
  • Share best practices with teammates, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and shared success.
  • Engage in regular virtual meetings to discuss performance metrics, customer feedback, and opportunities for process enhancements.

Essential Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED; a Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, Health Sciences, or a related field is a plus but not required.
  • Current pharmacy technician license in the state(s) where you will be operating (or willingness to obtain one within 90 days of hire).
  • Strong interest in health‑care and pharmacy services, with a desire to learn and grow in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to convey complex medical information in simple, understandable terms.
  • Basic computer proficiency, including familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite and comfort navigating web‑based applications.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Two or more years of experience in a retail pharmacy setting, including prescription filling, verification, and compliance tasks.
  • Certification as an immunizer or willingness to become certified within the first 90 days of employment.
  • Experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems or pharmacy management software.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently while maintaining high levels of accuracy and attention to detail.

Core Skills & Competencies

  • Customer‑Centric Mindset: Ability to place the patient’s needs at the forefront of every interaction.
  • Analytical Thinking: Skill in reviewing prescription data, identifying potential issues, and recommending solutions.
  • Regulatory Awareness: Understanding of state and federal pharmacy regulations, especially concerning controlled substances.
  • Time Management: Capacity to handle multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines in a remote setting.
