Key Responsibilities

  • Front Desk Management: Greet students, parents, vendors, and visitors with professionalism and warmth; manage sign‑in procedures and maintain a secure entry system.
  • Communication Hub: Answer multi‑line telephone systems, route calls appropriately, and respond to email inquiries; disseminate important announcements, newsletters, and emergency notifications.
  • Administrative Support: Prepare and distribute daily schedules, attendance reports, and classroom supplies; assist teachers with filing, copying, and data entry tasks.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate student enrollment records, personnel files, and confidential documents in compliance with state and federal regulations.
  • Financial Duties: Process purchase orders, track budget expenditures, and reconcile daily cash receipts from school fundraisers and fee collections.
  • Event Coordination: Organize school events, parent‑teacher conferences, and community outreach programs; coordinate room bookings, catering, and logistics.
  • Technology Utilization: Operate school management software, update databases, and generate reports for administrators and district leadership.
  • Safety & Security: Monitor visitor logs, enforce school safety protocols, and assist in emergency drills and lockdown procedures.

Essential Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED; additional coursework in office administration, business, or related field is preferred.
  • Minimum of two years experience in an educational or office setting, preferably within a K‑12 environment.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and familiarity with student information systems.

Compensation, Benefits & Perks
