Our commitment to continuous improvement means we invest heavily in the tools, training, and talent that empower our teams to anticipate risks, streamline processes, and protect the wellbeing of every stakeholder—from crew members to passengers. If you thrive in an environment where data meets safety, and where your analytical insights directly influence real‑world outcomes, arenaflex is the place to launch the next chapter of your career.

Position Overview – Safety Analyst (Remote Data Entry)

arenaflex is seeking a dedicated Safety Analyst to join our expanding Safety Management System (SMS) team. This full‑time, remote‑first role focuses on meticulous data entry, comprehensive analysis of safety reports, and the development of actionable insights that drive our risk‑mitigation strategies. You will serve as a critical liaison between frontline personnel, safety managers, and senior leadership, ensuring that every safety incident, near‑miss, and trend is captured, evaluated, and transformed into meaningful improvements across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Data Capture & Validation: Accurately audit, process, and enter safety reports into the SMS database, ensuring completeness and compliance with internal and regulatory standards.
  • Trend Analysis: Examine large data sets to identify patterns, emerging risks, and root‑cause factors, translating raw numbers into clear, actionable narratives.
  • Reporting & Communication: Prepare concise safety performance dashboards and detailed reports for senior executives, line managers, and external auditors.
  • System Development Support: Assist the Safety Team in designing and refining data models, database structures, and analytics workflows that enhance the effectiveness of the SMS.
  • Regulatory Alignment: Ensure all safety data collection and reporting activities align with FAA, EASA, and other applicable aviation safety regulations.
  • Continuous Improvement: Contribute to the ongoing evolution of arenaflex’s risk assessment methodologies, safety policies, and corrective‑action processes.
  • Cross‑Functional Collaboration: Partner with Operations, Maintenance, Flight Crew, and Human Resources to gather contextual information that enriches safety analyses.
  • Training & Mentorship: Provide guidance to new team members on data entry best practices, SMS procedures, and analytical techniques.
  • Special Projects: Lead or support ad‑hoc safety investigations, audits, and industry‑benchmarking initiatives as assigned.

Essential Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Safety Management, Aviation, Business Analytics, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in data entry, data analysis, or safety reporting within a regulated industry.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite—especially Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, data visualization) and PowerPoint.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex data insights to non‑technical audiences.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a remote environment.
  • Basic understanding of aviation safety regulations and SMS frameworks (e.g., ICAO Annex 19, FAA Part 121).
  • Self‑starter mindset with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to data integrity.

Preferred Qualifications & Additional Skills

  • Experience with safety management software (e.g., Envision, SAFETYNET, or similar platforms).
  • Familiarity with statistical analysis tools such as R, Python, or Tableau.
  • Certification in Safety Management (e.g., Certified Safety Professional, CSP) or a related credential.
  • Prior exposure to risk assessment methodologies like FMEA, Bow‑Tie, or Hazard Identification.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a MSP SIDA (Security Identification) badge, if required for occasional on‑site visits.

Core Skills & Competencies for Success

  • Analytical Thinking: Ability to dissect complex data sets, spot trends, and draw logical conclusions.
  • Attention to Detail: Precision in data entry and documentation to ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Problem‑Solving: Proactive approach to identifying safety gaps and recommending practical solutions.
  • Collaboration: Strong interpersonal skills for working across departments and influencing decision‑makers.
  • Adaptability: Comfort with evolving safety standards, technology upgrades, and shifting priorities.
  • Ethical Judgment: Commitment to confidentiality and integrity when handling sensitive safety information.

Career Growth & Learning Opportunities

arenaflex invests heavily in the professional development of its employees. As a Safety Analyst, you will have access to a robust learning ecosystem that includes:

  • Annual safety and compliance training programs, funded by the company.
  • Mentorship from senior safety leaders and industry experts.
  • Opportunities to pursue advanced certifications (e.g., CSP, Six Sigma) with tuition reimbursement.
  • Cross‑departmental rotations that broaden your understanding of airline operations, maintenance, and customer experience.
  • Participation in global safety conferences and webinars, allowing you to network with peers and stay ahead of industry trends.

Within three years, high‑performing analysts often progress to roles such as Senior Safety Analyst, Safety Data Scientist, or SMS Program Manager, positioning themselves as strategic partners in arenaflex’s safety ecosystem.
