Experienced Online ESL Teacher (Group Classes: 12-24 Students)
About the Role
We are seeking a dynamic, high-energy Online ESL Teacher to join our team. Unlike one-on-one tutoring, this role focuses on managing larger virtual classrooms of 12 to 24 students. You will be responsible for delivering engaging, interactive lessons that ensure every student—regardless of the group size—stays active and motivated. Key Responsibilities
Facilitate Large Groups: Deliver pre-designed ESL curriculum to groups of 12–24 students via MS Teams. Engagement & Management: Use advanced digital classroom management techniques (breakout rooms, polls, chat monitoring) to ensure 100% participation. Adaptive Teaching: Tailor your delivery style to meet the diverse proficiency levels within a larger group. Feedback: Provide concise, constructive feedback and track student progress. Required Qualifications & Experience Certified Professional: You must hold a recognized ESL qualification (CELTA, DELTA, or TEFL/TESOL with at least 120 hours). Proven Track Record: Minimum of 2+ years of experience specifically in online group teaching. Technical Proficiency: Expert-level knowledge of virtual classroom tools and a stable, high-speed internet connection. Education: A Bachelor’s degree (preferably in Education, Linguistics, or a related field). What We’re Looking For Energy: You can command a "room" of 20+ people and keep them focused. Clarity: Exceptional native-level English proficiency with clear articulation. Reliability: A professional setup with a noise-canceling headset and a clean, brightly lit background.
