[Remote] Account Executive
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Climb Global Solutions is a specialty distributor focused on driving success with innovative vendors and value-added resellers. The Account Executive role involves managing sales relationships, onboarding new resellers, and providing exceptional customer service throughout the sales life cycle.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for specific sales territories, managing Climb’s long-tail vendors, and managing a high volume of email requests
- Support resellers through precise quoting, smooth order processing, and responsive customer service throughout the quote‑to‑order cycle
- Strong organizational and follow-up skills
- Develop a strong working knowledge of our extensive long‑tail vendor portfolio to support reseller needs efficiently
- Assist reseller partners throughout the full quote‑to‑order process, ensuring accuracy, clarity, and timely follow‑through
- Engage directly with vendors to source required product information, pricing, and availability for reseller opportunities
- Provide informed feedback on opportunity‑related questions or seamlessly redirect inquiries to the appropriate vendor for deeper clarification
- Cultivating strong relationships and acting as the primary point of contact for assigned territory partners to ensure partner satisfaction
- Familiarity and comfort level with a team environment
- Consistently articulating Climb Channel Solutions’ value proposition to assigned territory partners in order to maintain and increase Climb’s footprint within each customer
- Acting as liaison between vendor partners and channel resellers to grow business within the assigned territory and gain market share
Skills
- Minimum of 1-2 years professional experience
- Bachelor's degree
- Authorized to work in the US
- Proficient at communicating both written and verbal
- Excellent organisational skills
- Strong desire to learn new skills
- Comfortable using the computer including Microsoft Office
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks appropriately
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent customer service, problem solving, and selling techniques
- Familiarity with Pipeline and Forecasting methodology
- Assisting customers with maximizing upsell opportunities, such as multi-year, extended maintenance, cross-sell, etc
- New partner prospecting & recruitment
- Experience with Microsoft Office applications
- Understanding of different CRM tools
