Specialist, Client Coverage I
BNY is a leading global financial services company that influences nearly 20% of the world’s investible assets. They are seeking a Specialist to join their Global Client Coverage team, where the primary focus will be on facilitating new business and maintaining client relationships to drive revenue growth.
Responsibilities
- Assist in facilitating new business with a portfolio of existing client relationships and/or new prospects, focusing on revenue growth through deepening and expanding existing relationships and cultivating new business
- Support Business Development analytics, track individual targets, and connect with relationship managers to ensure successful outcomes
- Maintain tracking databases, assist with data entry, ensure data integrity and quality assurance, and develop accurate reporting
- Collaborate with internal business teams and firm-wide resources to ensure alignment of commercial objectives, risk appetite, and compliance activities related to business development and relationship management
Skills
- Bachelor's degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience is required; advanced/graduate degree preferred
- 0-2 years of total work experience preferred, ideally in Financial Services with exposure to client types or products such as Hedge or Pension funds
- Prior experience in a related customer-facing role, Sales Support, Global Capital Markets, or Product Management is preferred
- Applicable local/regional licenses or certifications as required by the business
- A good understanding of the relevant marketplace, competitive landscape, and industry drivers in the relevant region is preferred
- Bi-lingual capabilities and an understanding of local/cultural nuances are helpful for building client trust
