As an Engineer in Data Engineering & Intelligence, you will design, develop, and maintain business intelligence capabilities, contributing to data-driven decision making and shaping the organization's data architecture.

Responsibilities

  • Conceptualize, develop and document data pipeline architecture to support reporting tools
  • Support the creation of automated reporting backends with high levels of efficiency and accuracy in BigQuery
  • Maintain a functional expertise of the client data, its nature, and documentation
  • Collaborate effectively with cross-functional team members to understand data needs and develop meaningful solutions
  • Contribute to the automation of data quality assurance and data processes to ensure accuracy and efficiency

Skills

  • Detail oriented while keeping sight of the bigger picture
  • Highly proficient in SQL and Python
  • Prior experience in Google Cloud services such as BigQuery, GCS, Cloud SQL, ML, or similar Cloud services experience
  • Experience building and optimizing data pipelines, architectures and data sets
  • Experience analyzing data to identify issues and inconsistencies
  • Passionate about data and understanding consumer behavior
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
  • Familiarity with version control software (Git), leveraging LLMs and writing technical documentation
  • Ability to independently acquire new skills and master new tools
  • Proficiency with dbt a strong plus
