Payroll Assistant

Nuclear Care Partners is growing its team and offering a supportive work environment. The Payroll and Data Assistant will be responsible for day-to-day accounting, payroll, and financial functions, ensuring accurate record-keeping and compliance with laws.

Responsibilities

  • Perform tasks to establish and maintain employee/payroll records
  • Review and audit timecard records for accuracy and completeness
  • Accurately compute overtime and verify compliance with state laws and regulations
  • Maintain electronic files for the Finance department
  • Calculate and input billing totals into spreadsheet, identifying discrepancies
  • Act as a support for the Finance department and perform other duties as assigned
  • Ability to prioritize, multi-task, problem solve and make reasonable decisions based on company policies and practices
  • Assists with weekly payroll runs and coordinates with HR Department and outside payroll provider as necessary
  • Assists with various finance activities as directed
  • May be required to run various periodic reports as requested
  • Assists in development of company’s accounting policies and processes
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Skills

  • High School diploma or equivalent education required
  • Administrative experience, including Human Resources or payroll preferred, but not required
  • Strong computer skills
  • Ability to understand and follow standard operating policies and procedures
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks, changing priorities as necessary
