[Remote] Seasonal Onboarding Specialist

They are seeking an Onboarding Specialist for seasonal hires to ensure efficient onboarding through the Workday platform and support new hires during their initial employment period.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate the end-to-end Hire and Onboarding process for seasonal employees, ensuring all necessary documentation and tasks are completed accurately and on time
• Guide new hires through the completion of necessary paperwork and electronic forms in Workday supporting them with any questions or concerns they may have
• Monitor and track the progress of background checks and onboarding activities, ensuring deadlines are met and records are accurately maintained in Workday
• Serve as a point of contact for seasonal hires, fostering open communication and a supportive environment during their initial employment period
• Ensure adherence to company policies, employment regulations, and documentation requirements during the onboarding process, maintaining accurate records in Workday
• Partner with team members to manage the Onboarding Support Team inbox, ensuring timely, accurate, and professional responses to employee and candidate inquiries

Skills

• Proven experience in HR, or Onboarding processes, preferably in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency in using Workday or similar HRIS platforms for onboarding and data management
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with employees at all levels
• Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality service to internal stakeholders
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with professionalism and discretion
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively across departments and with diverse teams to achieve common goals
• Flexibility to adapt to changing business needs and seasonal fluctuations
• Flexible availability July to December, ability to work Saturdays as needed
