They are seeking an Entry Level Structural/Jr. Engineer to join their team, where the individual will work on various projects involving structural design and analysis, collaborating closely with other professionals in the field.

Responsibilities

  • Perform increasingly complex calculations and analysis as the structural design is developed
  • Learn to work with Designers to get the structural requirements communicated on paper and in the model
  • Develop a solid foundation in the fundamentals of Structural Engineering
  • Gain experience in multiple subject areas
  • Learn how Structural design integrates with and impacts other disciplines
  • Develop understanding of principles of analysis and design of vertical and lateral structural systems in compliance with applicable codes and standards
  • Assist in the performance of structural analysis and design for projects
  • Manage your own workload
  • Meet schedule, budget, and quality requirements

Skills

  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil or Architectural Engineering, with a clear emphasis on Structural Engineering from an ABET-accredited program
  • Engineer in Training (EIT) Certification
  • 0-3 years relevant work experience
  • This position is considered hybrid and will require you to work in the local office or project site a minimum of 2 days per week
  • Internet service with a MINIMUM speed of 25Mbps download/10Mbps upload as required to effectively meet project performance requirements (higher internet speed is recommended)
  • MS degree in Civil or Structural Engineering with an emphasis on Structural Engineering
  • Previous relevant internship experience in Structural Engineering, preferably with experience analyzing traditional steel and concrete structures
  • Experience with STAAD, Navisworks, and Bluebeam
  • Familiarity with US building codes including IBC, ASCE 7, ACI, and AISC
