Reporting to the Manager, Policy, the Legislative Specialist is responsible for developing and revising existing legislation to address the priorities of the Nunavut Government assigned to the Department of Community Services. The Legislation Specialist leads the coordination and evaluation of legislative initiatives for all divisions of the department; develops briefing materials for the Deputy Minister and Minister and facilitates the department’s consultations with stakeholders regarding issues of legislation.
