With manufacturing operations based in Asia and a growing customer base across multiple channels, the company is focused on scaling efficiently through data-driven decision-making, operational excellence, and strategic inventory management. Position Overview Our client is seeking a highly analytical and strategic Global Demand Planner to own and scale demand forecasting across all sales channels and geographic regions. This role will play a critical part in aligning inventory and supply planning with rapidly evolving demand signals across retail, e-commerce, commercial, and international markets. The ideal candidate will partner closely with sales, marketing, operations, and finance teams to develop accurate forecasts, optimize inventory investments, and support sustainable business growth while minimizing stockouts and excess inventory. This is a high-impact position best suited for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, data-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities

Own the global demand planning process across all channels, including retail, direct-to-consumer, commercial, and international markets. Develop and maintain rolling demand forecasts at the SKU, channel, and regional levels. Incorporate inputs from sales activities, marketing campaigns, seasonality, product launches, and promotional calendars into forecasting models. Drive inventory planning strategies that optimize service levels, inventory turns, and working capital. Partner with Operations leadership to manage inventory-related financial performance and working capital objectives. Monitor forecast accuracy, identify variances, and continuously improve forecasting methodologies. Build and maintain reporting dashboards and key performance indicators, including forecast accuracy, fill rate, stockouts, and excess inventory. Collaborate with sales teams and external partners to understand demand drivers and improve visibility into future orders. Support new product launches through demand planning, forecasting, and scenario modeling. Partner with Finance and Operations leadership on revenue forecasting and inventory investment planning. Help develop scalable planning systems, processes, and standard operating procedures as the company continues to grow. Qualifications 5+ years of experience in demand planning, supply chain planning, inventory management, or a related field. Experience forecasting across multiple sales channels, including retail/wholesale and direct-to-consumer. Strong analytical and quantitative skills with advanced Excel proficiency. Experience working with ERP systems, planning tools, or forecasting software. Proven ability to translate data into actionable business insights and recommendations. Experience working with overseas manufacturing partners and managing long lead-time supply chains. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Ability to operate both strategically and tactically in a fast-paced, high-growth environment. Strong attention to detail and a continuous improvement mindset.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience supporting large retail accounts or national retail distribution channels. Familiarity with Shopify, NetSuite, or demand planning platforms. Experience supporting international expansion and multi-region forecasting. Background in consumer products, e-commerce, fitness, wellness, or lifestyle brands.
