Summary

Iron Mountain is seeking a strategic and experienced Director, Benefits Financials & Performance to join our Global Benefits team. In this role, you will be responsible for the analytics strategy, fiscal governance, and risk optimization of our expansive global benefits ecosystem spanning over 60 countries. You will join a high-impact, collaborative corporate function, serving as the primary strategic bridge between the Global Benefits department and the corporate Finance and Accounting teams to drive data-driven insights on a global scale. What You’ll Do In this role, you will: Global Financial Management: Partner closely with corporate Finance and Accounting teams to build and maintain the foundational model for end-to-end benefits budgeting, monthly variance tracking, and long-range spend projections across more than 60 countries. Risk Optimization & Pooled Financing: Architect, oversee, and optimize global pooled financing mechanisms, multinets, and captive insurance arrangements encompassing multiple regional markets to maximize cross-border spend efficiency. Data Analytics & Performance Tracking: Define, track, and analyze key performance indicators and financial metrics to uncover cost-containment opportunities and accurately assess program return on investment. Executive Governance & Reporting: Design, synthesize, and deliver clean, comprehensive executive dashboards and briefing materials for the Global Benefits Governance Committee, ensuring senior stakeholders have complete transparency for strategic decision-making. Team Leadership & Matrix Collaboration: Lead, mentor, and maximize the output of an agile financial team while equipping regional teams across Asia-Pacific, Europe, Middle East, and Africa, Latin America, and North America with uniform templates and structural frameworks. What You’ll Bring The ideal candidate will have: Progressive experience in global benefits, corporate financial planning and analysis, or actuarial consulting, with a strong focus on global employee benefits or insurance finance. Strong knowledge of complex, large-scale global benefit financing structures, including global pooling, multinational dividends, and captive insurance programs. Executive Presence & Presentation Design: Exceptional communication skills with a proven track record of synthesizing intricate financial models and multi-country metrics into clean, concise, and visually impactful presentations for C-suite executives and governance committees. Advanced Analytical Capabilities: High quantitative acumen and expert-level mastery of data analysis tools and frameworks used to aggressively track, benchmark, and manage large-scale, highly distributed global spend. Collaborative Leadership & Agility: A highly matrixed global mindset with the ability to navigate complex international regulatory environments, manage competing high-profile deadlines, and bridge gaps across diverse cultures and time zones.
