We're looking for a reliable, detail-oriented individual to join our team during our busy season to help ensure our customers receive their orders accurately and on time. Position Overview We're seeking a Part-Time Order Fulfillment Specialist to work as an independent contractor at our home office location. You'll be responsible for accurately packing and preparing customer orders for shipment. This is a perfect opportunity for someone looking for flexible, seasonal work in a small business environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately pick, pack, and prepare customer orders based on daily packing lists
- Apply shipping labels and ensure proper documentation for each package
- Maintain inventory organization in the fulfillment area
- Alert management of low stock levels
- Perform quality checks to ensure correct products and quantities are packed
- Package products carefully to prevent damage during shipping
- Process orders within specified timeframes to meet shipping deadlines
- Maintain a clean, organized workspace
- Track completed orders and update order management system
- Handle beauty and personal care products with appropriate care
- Assist with inventory receiving and organization as needed
- Follow all workplace safety and cleanliness protocols
Requirements
- Must pass a background check
- Comfortable working in a home office environment
- Reliable transportation to work location
- Ability to lift and move packages up to 25 pounds repeatedly
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Basic computer skills and comfort with online order management systems
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in order fulfillment, warehouse, or shipping/receiving

- Knowledge of shipping carriers (USPS, UPS, FedEx) and their requirements
- Basic inventory management experience
- Experience working in small business or home-based business settings
