Full Stack Software Engineer (Magento / PHP) - Remote

Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled Full Stack Software Engineer to join the Platform Support Team, with deep expertise in Magento and a strong foundation in modern PHP frameworks. This role is ideal for an engineer who enjoys maintaining scalable eCommerce solutions, integrating complex systems, and working across a diverse PHP ecosystem. You will play a key role in developing, and supporting high-performance applications, while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver robust and scalable solutions. Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, and maintain scalable web applications with a focus on Magento
- Extend and customize Magento functionality to support business requirements
- Build and maintain integrations with third-party systems (CRM, ERP, payment gateways, etc.)
- Develop and consume RESTful and SOAP APIs
- Work with data formats including JSON and XML
- Contribute across the stack, including frontend and backend development
- Collaborate with Product, DevOps, and design teams to deliver high-quality features
- Participate in triage, code reviews, testing, and CI/CD processes
- Troubleshoot, optimize, and help scale existing systems
Required Qualifications:
- Strong development experience with Magento
- Solid understanding of modern PHP frameworks such as Symfony and/or Laravel
- Experience building and integrating RESTful APIs and SOAP services
- Hands-on experience with third-party system integrations (CRM, ERP, etc.)
- Proficiency working with JSON and XML data structures
- Able to troubleshoot complex code and business logic
- Ability to work with and query MySQL / MariaDB databases
- Willingness to work across multiple PHP-based platforms as needed
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with CMS and PIM platforms such as Drupal, Pimcore, and/or Joomla
- Frontend experience with Vue.js (preferred) or React
- Strong JavaScript/TypeScript skills
Familiarity with:
- Composer (dependency management)
- Docker and virtualized environments
- Cloud platforms such as AWS (Lambda, S3) and/or Azure
- CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices

Education & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in a technical field (e.g., Computer Science, Information Systems, Telecommunications) or equivalent hands-on experience
- 5+ years of experience developing and maintaining Magento and PHP-based applications
Compensation
Up to $110,000 DOT Requirements If applicable, meet all DOT qualification requirements and comply with all applicable federal, state, and local transportation regulations.
Compensation
Range $74,000.00 - $111,000.00 Currency USD Type Salary Any offered salary is determined based on internal equity, internal salary ranges, market data/ranges, applicant's skills and prior relevant experience, certain degrees and certifications (e.g. JD/technology), for example.
