IT Scrum Master
Job Description:
- Assist with long-range planning for enhancement and implementation of future business systems.
- Discover and contribute to the development, implementation, and maintenance of business systems functional architecture, detail systems design, configuration, or program specifications.
- Facilitate daily standups (or the daily scrum) as needed.
- Participate in sprint reviews and capture feedback.
- Provide administrative support for scrum board.
- Ensure cards are up to date and scrum tools are working well.
- Collaborate with team members and other internal stakeholders.
- Perform regular analysis of burndown charts and other portfolio planning tools.
Requirements:
- High School diploma/GED and three (3) years of experience working in application environments with hands-on experience with monitoring system operations. Requires certification.
- Applicable certification(s) may be substituted to equivalent degree and experience requirements; OR Associate’s degree and a minimum of one (1) year of experience working in application environments with hands-on experience with monitoring system operations. Requires certification.
- Applicable certification(s) may be substituted to equivalent degree and experience requirements; OR Equivalent combination of education/experience.
- High School/GED and Two-Year degrees require certification.
- Must have a valid driver’s license
- Must reside within North Carolina.
- Preferred: Experience in a distributed computer environment and supporting a complex integrated software package, training or experience in using e-mail, Windows and Microsoft Office.
- Experience in both writing and executing SQL statements, with the ability to navigate database structures and schemas. Preferred certifications include Microsoft applications certifications MTA, MCSA, MCSD, or equivalent.
