Job Summary

As a Senior Customer Service Representative, you'll be responsible for managing inbound email, chat, and phone inquiries from pet parents, with the goal of selling pet insurance policies and improving customer retention. You'll work closely with our team to optimize sales goals, build strong relationships with customers, and provide a WOW! experience for every interaction.

Key Responsibilities

* Manage inbound email, chat, and phone inquiries from pet parents to sell pet insurance policies and improve customer retention

  • Manage time and other resources to ensure sales goals are met consistently
  • Handle all interactions promptly and effectively to minimize wait times
  • Build rapport with potential customers to reinforce the value of arenaflex's brand and pet insurance products
  • Build strong knowledge of products and services offered
  • Collaborate with the team to optimize sales strategies and improve customer satisfaction

Essential Business Experience and Technical Skills

* High school diploma or GED

  • 2+ years of sales experience
  • Proven attendance reliability
  • Flexible schedule requirements, with the ability to work evenings and weekends
  • Strong written, verbal, interpersonal, and phone communication skills
  • Excellent tracking, follow-up, negotiating, and relationship building skills
  • Demonstrated ability to consistently overcome objections
  • Articulate, professional, and possesses a strong quality sales mindset with attention to detail
  • Proven history of adherence to corporate policies, procedures, and guidelines
  • Strong computer background using MS Word, Excel, and Internet

Preferred Qualifications

* Proven sales success within an inbound service environment, preferably a direct sales environment

  • Insurance industry sales experience
  • Service industry and/or Contact Center experience
  • Ability to operate in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment with deadlines
  • Strong written, verbal, interpersonal, and phone communication skills
  • Excellent tracking, follow-up, negotiating, and relationship building skills
  • Demonstrated ability to consistently overcome objections
  • Articulate, professional, and possesses a strong quality sales mindset with attention to detail

Training and Onboarding

* 100% remote training schedule, Monday through Friday, 9:00 am - 5:30 pm EST, for two weeks, plus one week of nesting

  • Fixed schedule, Monday through Friday, 8:00 am - 9:00 pm, with one weekend a month on a rotating schedule
  • Class start date: September 8, 2025
