Forward Deployed Software Engineer

We’ve joined forces with top AI and crowd researchers at Anthropic, Character.AI, Imbue, Stanford, and University of Pennsylvania to build a fair and ethical platform for AI developers to collaborate with domain experts to train bespoke AI models. Responsibilities: Working as a Forward Deployed Software Engineer at Pareto AI means partnering directly with labs to understand their challenges and develop targeted solutions while closely supporting them with their goals in AI research and development. Your key duties will include: Leverage innovative thinking, problem-solving capabilities, and engineering expertise to address critical AI challenges for clients Configure and present tailored product demonstrations to highlight platform features for potential clients Advise customers on LLM evaluation best practices and provide strategic AI guidance Write code, construct specialized evaluation datasets, build custom web applications, and produce technical documentation to train customers on platform usage Author technical blog content and promote the product and organization through social platforms and industry gatherings Partner with interdisciplinary teams across delivery, product, engineering, and ML to influence product roadmap and achieve important business objectives
Qualifications
Most importantly, we seek candidates with initiative, eagerness to grow, unwavering determination, and enthusiasm for direct customer engagement. You would be an excellent candidate if your experience includes: Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or related analytical discipline Solid technical foundation, ideally in machine learning or data analytics Strength in programming languages such as Python, Typescript, or functional languages Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS Outstanding communication abilities and analytical troubleshooting skills Flexibility to visit customer locations when required (Business trips to California) Having the legal right to travel to the US Demonstrate strong ethics, honesty, and consideration for colleagues Our stack: Backend: Django 5 Python 3.12 Celery Redis Frontend: React 18.2 Infra (AWS): Fargate ECS RDS Apply To This Job
