Job Summary
As a Senior Data Scientist at arenaflex, you will be responsible for:
- Developing and implementing predictive models using machine learning and statistical techniques to forecast viewership and improve Promotion Deals revenue
- Designing and implementing data pipelines to collect, process, and analyze large datasets
- Creating business intelligence solutions to visualize and communicate insights to stakeholders
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify business opportunities and develop data-driven solutions
- Staying up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to drive innovation and improvement
Key Responsibilities
* Information Quality: Interpret raw data from various sources into actionable insights for data-driven decision making using automated pipelines for ETL (Extract, Transform, Load)
- Factual Modeling: Develop and deploy new predictive models using machine learning and statistical techniques to estimate and extend a client's engagement with the Disney platforms across multiple KPIs
- Business Intelligence: Design and implement data visualizations and dashboards to communicate results to business stakeholders in an easily consumable, manageable, and automated way
- Initiative/Organization: Collaborate closely with business partners (primarily the addressable estimating teams within Exploration, Knowledge, and Estimation) to identify and capitalize on opportunities, and with other data teams to improve capabilities around data modeling, testing platforms, and data perception
- Process Improvement: Drive innovation by investigating new measurable methods and conceptualizing ways to enhance the current forecast and reporting foundation and make processes significantly better
Essential Qualifications
* Education: Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field (e.g., mathematics, statistics, computer science, engineering)
- Experience: 2+ years of significant experience in data analysis, machine learning, and business intelligence
- Skills:
+ High proficiency in SQL and Python (e.g., pandas, numpy, scikit-learn) for data analysis + Experience with ETL, data pipeline management, and cloud infrastructure for managing large datasets (e.g., AWS, PySpark, Snowflake, Wind current, Databricks) + Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) + Experience with machine learning libraries (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch) + Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on delivering high-quality results + Excellent communication and collaboration skills + Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience: Experience working with web frameworks (e.g., Django) and JavaScript libraries (e.g., ReactJS, JQuery) to build professional frontend and backend web applications focused on user experience
- Skills: Experience with Docker containers
