A Day in the Life of a Remote Chat Support Representative

As a Remote Chat Support Representative, you will be responsible for:

  • Efficiently and effectively answering member inquiries, solving problems, and assisting with transactions and lending inquiries through digital channels
  • Providing support to ensure online membership applications are completed and submitted within a timely manner
  • Effectively discussing member's needs on financial matters through multiple remote technology secured/unsecured access channels
  • Acting as a subject matter expert for all online products and services, including Online Banking, Bill Pay, Mobile Deposit, External Transfers, Online Account Opening, Mobile Banking, Chat, and Text Support
  • Maintaining a strong working knowledge of arenaflex's products and services

Key Responsibilities:

* Respond to member inquiries and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner

  • Provide accurate and helpful information to members regarding arenaflex's products and services
  • Assist members with online membership applications and ensure timely completion and submission
  • Utilize multiple remote technology channels to communicate with members and provide support
  • Stay up-to-date on arenaflex's products and services to effectively address member inquiries
  • Collaborate with internal teams to resolve complex issues and provide exceptional member experiences

Skills and Qualifications:

* High School Diploma or equivalent

  • 1 year of experience in a customer service position
  • Must meet the requirements for our Telecommuting Program (more information below)
  • Excellent oral, written, and telephone communication skills
  • Strong problem-solving and member service skills
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products, especially Word, Excel, and PPT

Telecommuting Requirements:

* A dedicated workspace

  • Secure and strong internet connection
  • Not being a caretaker for any dependents (adult or child) for the entirety of the scheduled shift
  • An environment free from loud noises or outside distractions
  • The first 60 days will be on-site for training at our Corporate Campus located at 2675 O'Neal Lane in Baton Rouge
