Job Summary

We're seeking an experienced Online Chat Specialist to join our customer service team in Sacramento, CA. As a key member of our support team, you'll be responsible for providing top-notch support to our clients through live chat interactions. Key Responsibilities

* Answer incoming customer live chats regarding website navigation issues, service questions, and general client concerns

  • Evaluate customer interactions and elevate issues to Online Chat Manager when appropriate
  • Promote interest in client products and services
  • Consistently achieve established standards of the position
  • Continually portray and project a positive and professional image
  • Provide administrative support to the customer service team
  • May assist with overflow work and other duties as needed

Essential Qualifications

* 1+ years of experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in a live chat or call center environment

  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Strong knowledge of customer service principles and practices
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in a related field preferred

Preferred Qualifications

* Experience working in a remote or virtual environment

  • Knowledge of customer relationship management (CRM) software
  • Experience with live chat software and tools
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., business, communications, marketing)
