Job Summary

As an Experienced Customer Service Representative, you'll be responsible for providing top-notch support to our student health insurance customers. You'll be the first point of contact for our members, answering their questions, resolving issues, and ensuring they receive the care they need. Key Responsibilities

* Provide exceptional customer service to student health insurance customers, responding to their inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner

  • Learn the basics of insurance and understand the student health insurance products serviced by arenaflex
  • Navigate the LuminX claim system with ease, ensuring accurate and efficient processing of claims
  • Meet and/or exceed productivity standards, consistently delivering high-quality results
  • Demonstrate a sense of urgency, ensuring calls are answered within queue standards and deadlines are met
  • Adhere to deadlines/turn-around times, maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and other stakeholders, ensuring seamless collaboration and issue resolution
  • Perform other duties as assigned, or as situation dictates, demonstrating flexibility and a willingness to adapt to changing priorities

Essential Qualifications

* A minimum of one year's work experience in customer service, preferably in a health insurance setting, medical billing office, coding with a healthcare provider, or related field

  • Effective communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex information in a clear and concise manner
  • Patient, resilient, and stress-tolerant, with a genuine interest in helping others
  • Cooperative and enjoy working with others as part of a team, demonstrating a positive and professional attitude
  • Mature, responsible, and dependable, with a focus on attention to detail and quality of service
  • Above-average computer proficiency skills, with the ability to type and navigate software applications with ease
  • Stable work history, with a proven track record of reliability and commitment

Preferred Qualifications

* Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with a high volume of customer interactions

  • Familiarity with insurance products and services, particularly in the student health insurance market
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and resolve complex issues
  • Excellent phone etiquette skills, with the ability to multitask while maintaining integrity and quality of service
  • Certification in customer service or a related field, such as Certified Customer Service Representative (CCSR) or Certified Insurance Service Representative (CISR)
