Job Summary

We're seeking an experienced Customer Service Representative to join our remote call center team. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for providing exceptional customer experiences, resolving complex customer issues, and driving solutions that meet our clients' needs. Key Responsibilities

As a Customer Service Representative at arenaflex, you'll be responsible for:

  • Communicating with customers via telephone using strong communication skills, active listening, and empathy
  • Driving solutions that best meet the customer's needs
  • Analyzing and resolving complex customer issues, such as requests regarding various product aspects, policy provisions, claim status, basic procedures, etc.
  • Ensuring each customer experience is exceptional by leveraging effective listening skills, attention to detail, strong intellectual curiosity, and an honest desire to make a difference
  • Efficiently processing transactions and referring requests for other policy modifications to appropriate areas
  • Tracking responses to ensure completion
  • Supporting special product and/or service campaigns as needed, or as requested by the customer
  • Efficiently accessing and navigating multiple electronic systems to provide a complete and integrated response to the customer's inquiry
  • Performing these responsibilities in a consistent, professional manner while exercising strong verbal, interpersonal, and high-quality service skills

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • At least 2+ years of experience in customer service, with prior call center experience highly preferred
  • A strong passion for serving customers and a personal commitment to following through in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate complex verbal and written concepts with ease
  • Strong computer/keyboard skills, analytical and problem-solving skills, and the ability to quickly grasp information and efficiently solve verbal challenges
  • A high school diploma, GED, some college experience, trade, or professional certification
  • A demonstrated ability to quickly learn and continuously develop functional knowledge and an understanding of company products, as well as administrative, claims, underwriting, and marketing functions

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications would be an asset:

  • 2+ years of experience in customer service, with prior call center experience highly preferred
  • Experience navigating multiple screens while delivering good customer experience
  • A demonstrated ability to inspire trust and accountability through an empathetic communication style that promotes a quality image of the client
  • Strong computer/keyboard skills, analytical and trouble-shooting skills, and superb listening skills
