On-site writer for a single, political, podcast episode
This job post is for a short, on-site gig. I will soon record a video podcast on location in Texas to analyze with my guests (including you) an upcoming political election. The job entails two hours of your onsite presence. An hour of prep would probably be wise, but the podcast format encourages research in-the-moment. Maybe five hours of compensation is reasonable. If you're averse to making a public appearance, I will blur your image at your request. This is a writing gig, not a speaking one. Your speaking would be incidental. You can say nothing the entire time if you prefer. I will explain during our chats and phone convos. Potential benefits:
- greater exposure (not likely given the channel size, but it’s possible)
- one of the most interesting gigs you’ve ever participated in
- maybe we could manage to make it fun!
- a very small chance (given the nature of the content) that it could lead to future work with me
