Software Engineer, L5 – Studio Infrastructure
Job Description:
- Play a key role in the design and implementation of solutions which improve our ability to manage a worldwide platform
- Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, product, and creative teams
- Develop world-class studio solutions that power the next generation of content creation
- Design orchestration of compute, disk, network, and other resources across globally distributed systems
- Integrate with core Netflix technologies and third-party solutions to deliver a cloud provider for studio needs
- Develop and advance core VM, container, network, and storage technologies
Requirements:
- Have 5+ years of expertise in Go, Java, or similar object-oriented languages
- Demonstrated history in designing, constructing, and managing large distributed systems with high availability, fault tolerance, and performance
- Solid experience in setting technical directions for engineering projects
- Familiarity with Linux and Linux systems programming
- Experience with IaaS providers such as AWS, GCP, and VMware
