Experienced Full Stack Senior Accountant – Remote Financial Data Entry and Analysis

If so, we want to hear from you! arenaflex is seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join our remote team, working closely with our Senior Bookkeeping Supervisor to drive business growth and improvement.

About the Role

As a Senior Accountant at arenaflex, you will play a critical role in our financial operations, working closely with our cross-functional teams to drive business objectives and improve our financial processes. You will be responsible for planning and preparing financial reports, including journal entries and monthly account reconciliations, as well as ensuring the accuracy and completeness of our financial records. Your expertise will be essential in providing financial insights and recommendations to our leadership team, helping us make informed business decisions.

Key Responsibilities

* Plan and prepare financial reports, including journal entries and monthly account reconciliations, for specific areas of the general ledger

• Be a key player in the monthly close cycle for arenaflex and external partners for assigned functional areas
• Ensure financial records are maintained for Management and GAAP Combined financial statements using accepted methodologies
• Assist in providing forecasts to external auditors on annual reviews and quarterly surveys
• Collaborate with FP&A, functional partners, and external stakeholders on significant accounting matters
• Conduct special investigations and projects to further our cycle improvement initiatives

• Sharp business acumen and process-oriented
• Data-driven and unafraid to dig down to the lowest level of detail for accuracy and a high level of precision
• Excellent communication, oral, and written skills, with strong proficiency in English
• Strong analytical and time management skills
• 2+ years of relevant accounting experience
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP, PCAOB principles, SOX/internal controls
• Experience with NetSuite, Coupa, GSuite preferred
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, CPA certification an asset
• Strong Excel skills, with the ability to manage and process large amounts of data
