Our client, a prestigious educational institution, is seeking a creative and detail-oriented Online Curriculum Developer to join their expanding digital learning division. This is a fully remote position, allowing you to contribute to the future of education from anywhere. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and revising high-quality online courses and learning materials that align with academic standards and pedagogical best practices. Your role will involve collaborating closely with subject matter experts (SMEs), instructional designers, and multimedia specialists to transform traditional course content into engaging and effective online learning experiences. Key responsibilities include structuring course content logically, writing clear and concise instructional text, developing interactive activities and assessments, and ensuring accessibility for all learners. You will also play a crucial role in evaluating the effectiveness of online courses through student feedback and learning analytics, making data-driven recommendations for improvement. Experience with learning management systems (LMS) such as Canvas, Blackboard, or Moodle is essential. A strong understanding of adult learning principles, instructional design theories, and online pedagogy is required. The ideal candidate will possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently in a remote setting. A Bachelor's degree in Education, Instructional Design, or a related field is required; a Master's degree is preferred. A minimum of 3 years of experience in online curriculum development or instructional design is necessary. Proficiency with multimedia authoring tools (e.g., Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate) and a commitment to innovative teaching methodologies are highly desirable.
