WordPress Developer Needed (Ukrainian Speaker) to Develop Film Festival Site JOB DESCRIPTION The Ukrainian Film Festival in Los Angeles is looking for a Ukrainian-speaking WordPress developer to build a clean, cinematic website for our volunteer-run film festival. This site will celebrate Ukrainian cinema and culture. PAGES NEEDED 1. Home / About: Introduction to the festival and its mission. 2. Films & Descriptions: A visual gallery of featured films. 3. Schedule: Dates, times, and venue details. 4. Volunteers: A page dedicated to the team and how to get involved. 5. Sponsors: Logos and links to sponsors and partners 6. Buy Tickets: Integration of an Eventbrite ticket widget. REQUIREMENTS •Language: Must speak Ukrainian fluently. Site content and communication will be a mix of English and Ukrainian.
- Platform: Must be built on WordPress. No other platforms.
- Design: Clean, cinematic aesthetic that reflects Ukrainian culture. Mobile and desktop friendly.
- Functionality: Easy for a non-technical person to update content after handoff.
- Tickets: Eventbrite ticket widget integrated on the Buy Tickets page.
- Account Setup & Access
o We will set up and own the Namecheap hosting account o Developer is responsible for all technical setup including: - Registering our domain name on our Namecheap account - Configuring the hosting account - Installing WordPress - Connecting and configuring the custom domain URL - Setting up all DNS settings - Ensuring the site is fully live and accessible at our domain
- Handoff: Must include a 30-minute walkthrough (video call or recorded video) showing us how to update content ourselves.
WE WILL PROVIDE
- All text content (film names, dates, volunteer lists).
- Festival name and logo.
- Eventbrite event links.
BUDGET $300 (Fixed Price) TIMELINE
- 1 week of development
- The site must be operational by July 1
