Job Summary We are seeking a highly motivated and bilingual Certified HECM (Home Equity Conversion Mortgage) Counselor to join our dedicated team. In this role, you will provide comprehensive counseling to clients considering reverse mortgage options, ensuring they understand the financial implications, benefits, and responsibilities involved. Fluency in both English and Spanish is essential to effectively serve our diverse community.   • Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish, with excellent verbal and written communication skills in both languages.
  • Strong understanding of financial counseling principles, including mortgage products, credit analysis, and debt management.
  • Experience with crisis intervention and motivational interviewing techniques to support client decision-making processes.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology, mental health considerations, and behavioral health principles relevant to client counseling.
  • Familiarity with HIPAA compliance, medical documentation standards, ICD coding (ICD-9/10), and medical records management.
  • Ability to work effectively with diverse populations, including individuals with disabilities or developmental challenges.
  • Excellent organizational skills for managing case files, documentation, and follow-up activities efficiently.
