Part-Time Respiratory Therapist – Beaumont, TX

This part-time role offers flexibility while maintaining meaningful, hands-on patient care. With a mix of in-office and field responsibilities, you’ll support patients using advanced respiratory equipment while balancing a schedule designed for part-time clinicians. You’ll play a key role in patient education, non-invasive ventilation (NIV) support, and compassionate respiratory care, with manageable travel and a supportive on-call rotation.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct home visits to perform oxygen, CPAP/BiPAP, and ventilation equipment setups and follow‑ups
  • Educate patients and caregivers on equipment use, cleaning, troubleshooting, and maintenance
  • Assess patient needs, document care delivered, and escalate concerns appropriately
  • Respond to hospital discharge requests and support patient needs
  • Collaborating with physicians, case managers, and internal branch teams
  • Maintain accurate documentation using iPad/laptop
  • Set up and operate various types of respiratory care equipment, including, but not limited to, oxygen therapy, nebulization therapy, apnea monitoring, suctioning, PAP, invasive and non-invasive ventilation
  • Inspects and tests equipment to ensure proper operating condition
  • Perform clinical assessments and tests such as pulse oximetry, ETCO2, spirometry and gathering vital signs
  • Performs other duties as required

Requirements

  • Registered Respiratory Therapist with an active TX RT license.
  • 3–5 years of Respiratory Therapy experience required.
  • Ability to stand, lift, push and/or pull objects ranging from 10 – 50 lbs.
  • Valid driver's license
  • Comfortable using mobile technology, navigation tools, and digital documentation
  • Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Therapy program
  • Hold a current RCP license in the state of practice (or states that the location covers) if that state requires an RCP license to allow the practice of respiratory therapy
  • Hold a current CPR Certification
  • Hold all applicable licensure in good standing for all states of practice
