Bilingual Virtual School-Based Speech Therapy - Illinois
A contract opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist specializing in telespeech services, with bilingual capabilities. This role supports students in a school setting, providing essential communication interventions through virtual platforms. Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized speech-language therapy via telespeech to students requiring support.
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in a remote learning environment.
- Collaborate with educators and families to develop and implement tailored treatment plans.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of progress notes and therapy sessions.
- Adapt therapy techniques to meet the diverse linguistic and cultural needs of bilingual students.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Valid state licensure and certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
- Experience providing telespeech therapy in an educational setting.
- Bilingual proficiency enhancing communication and therapy effectiveness with diverse student populations.
- Strong knowledge of speech and language development milestones and disorders in children.
- Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills to effectively manage remote caseloads.
