We can’t wait for you to join our heart-centered team! Responsibilities: Responsible for answering multi-line phone system and scheduling appointments on the EPIC computer system. Responsible for routing patient calls to the appropriate personnel utilizing voicemail, PowerChart Office in EPIC, & paging through paging software – Outlook Paging. Verification of patient insurance/demographic information, rescheduling patients for return visits. Qualifications: Education: High school diploma or equivalent required. Experience: One (1) year work experience in the medical front office setting; One (1) year experience with multi-phone system; Knowledge of medical terminology preferred Working Knowledge: Skill in developing and maintaining department quality assurance; Skill in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with patients, medical staff, and the public; Ability to maintain quality control standards; Ability to react calmly and effectively in emergency situations As part of our team, you are empowered to work collaboratively with our physicians and other caregivers, and play an integral role in setting the standard for excellence in patient care.
