The Role
We're seeking a charismatic and experienced Virtual Livestream Event Moderator to join our team for the SELF-LOVEapalooza Festival 2025. As a key member of our virtual event team, you'll be responsible for engaging our global audience, facilitating meaningful discussions, and ensuring smooth communication during livestreamed sessions.
Key Responsibilities

Audience Engagement
+ Welcome and energize the virtual audience during live sessions, setting the tone for a positive and inclusive experience. + Monitor and interact with audience comments in the chat, responding to questions and keeping the energy upbeat. + Share event updates, encourage participation, and maintain a positive, inclusive environment that fosters connection and community.
Live Session Moderation
+ Host and moderate livestreamed conversations, panel discussions, and Q&A sessions with performers and speakers, ensuring a smooth and engaging experience for our audience. + Guide one-on-one conversations between audience members and featured guests, providing a safe and supportive space for meaningful dialogue. + Manage timing and transitions between segments to keep the event on schedule, working closely with the production team to troubleshoot any live communication issues.
Community Building
+ Foster a welcoming and supportive virtual space where everyone feels included, valued, and respected. + Help amplify the festival's themes of self-love and resilience by encouraging meaningful dialogue and promoting a culture of acceptance and inclusivity.

Who We're Looking For

Confident and Empathetic Communicator
+ A confident and empathetic communicator who enjoys connecting with people, with a passion for creating a positive and inclusive experience. + Experienced in facilitating conversations or moderating discussions (or excited to learn), with a strong sense of adaptability and flexibility.
Technical Skills
+ Comfortable using livestreaming platforms like Zoom, YouTube Live, or StreamYard, with a willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
Team Player
+ A team player who can think on their feet, working collaboratively with our production team to ensure a smooth and engaging experience for our audience. + Available to dedicate 5-10 hours per week leading up to the festival and full availability on February 13, 2025.
