Job Overview The Foundation for Inner Peace, scribe authorized original publisher of A Course in Miracles is seeking a highly organized, proactive and emotionally intelligent Development & Executive Assistant to partner closely with the VP & Chief Development Officer. You will help steward meaningful donor relationships, support fundraising strategy, and build systems that allow our mission to extend with clarity, efficiency, and grace. This role is ideal for someone who is exceptionally detail-oriented, calm under pressure, and inspired by meaningful work that supports healing, connection, and global outreach.The right person is both deeply professional and a genuinely warm person who loves creating order, anticipating needs, communicating thoughtfully, lovingly, and helping mission-driven work flourish. Responsibilities

Fundraising & Development Support

  • Assist in planning and executing campaigns and appeals
  • Support donor stewardship, follow-up, and prospect research
  • Identify and qualify prospective donors, offering insights to guide outreach

Executive Partnership & Operations

  • Manage calendar, meetings, priorities, travel, and communications for the VP/CDO
  • Draft and refine donor-facing and internal communications with care and clarity
  • Anticipate needs, manage workflows, and ensure projects move forward smoothly

AI & Systems

  • Use AI tools to support writing, research, and task automation always with thoughtful human oversight
  • Maintain and improve systems, templates, and workflows for efficiency and consistency
  • Work comfortably across Dropbox, Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, and email platforms

Donor Stewardship & Database Management (Backup)

  • Maintain accurate donor records in Donor Perfect, ensuring data integrity.
  • Process gifts, track recurring donations and pledges, and send timely acknowledgments.
  • Generate reports and dashboards to support fundraising decisions.

Volunteer & Communications Support (Occasional)

  • Coordinate volunteers and maintain tracking systems
  • Support email campaigns and related logistics

Experience & Qualifications

  • Background in nonprofit development, fundraising, or donor relations
  • Experience supporting senior leaders or executives
  • Familiarity with Donor Perfect
  • Strong organizational, communication, and project management skills
  • Proficiency in Google Workspace and Microsoft Office

Logistics & Compensation

  • Part-time, fully remote position
  • Approximately 20 hours per week, typically spread across five days (about 4 hours per day)
  • Preference given to candidates located in the SF Bay Area and/or Pacific Time Zone
  • Ideal availability includes overlap during core collaboration hours
