Women in AI Ambassador (Volunteer) FemTechConf | North America | Flexible | Community Leadership Role About FemTechConf & Women in AI FemTechConf is one of the world’s largest Women in Tech communities, bringing together close to half a million members globally through conferences, leadership summits, digital initiatives, and hiring partnerships. Building on this foundation, we are now expanding Women in AI by FemTechConf across North America. Based on our most recent member survey, we are developing the largest Women in AI network globally, bringing together women building, leading, and shaping the future of AI, alongside the allies supporting them. Our mission is simple. To elevate women in AI, create real access to opportunity, and build a global ecosystem where innovation, leadership, and inclusion thrive. As part of this, we are launching our Women in AI Ambassador Program across key cities in the United States and Canada. The Role: Women in AI Ambassador We are looking for passionate, well-connected individuals to represent Women in AI by FemTechConf within their local ecosystems across North America. This is a flexible, low-commitment, community-driven role focused on growing awareness, connecting people, and supporting the expansion of our Women in AI network. Ambassadors act as local connectors, helping bring together talent, ideas, and opportunities within their city, while linking into our global community. This role is intentionally designed to be hands-off and flexible, with a focus on meaningful contribution rather than heavy time investment.

Key Responsibilities

• Represent Women in AI by FemTechConf in your city or region
• Support the growth of your local Women in AI community
• Share and promote key initiatives, content, and events
• Identify and connect inspiring women and leaders in AI
• Introduce potential speakers, partners, or collaborators to the network
• Engage occasionally on LinkedIn or social platforms to amplify the community
• Support or co-host informal meetups, roundtables, or small gatherings (optional)
• Act as a bridge between your local ecosystem and the global FemTechConf network

About You

• Based in North America (US or Canada) and working in or close to AI, tech, data, product, engineering, venture, or related fields
• Interested in supporting women in AI and inclusive innovation
• Well-connected or actively building a network in your local ecosystem
• Comfortable engaging occasionally online or at community events
• Proactive, reliable, and community-minded
• Curious about AI tools and trends (experience with tools like ChatGPT or Claude is a plus)

Experience in community building, events, partnerships, or public speaking is helpful, but not required. What You’ll Gain

As the program expands, we also plan to support local ambassador-led events and community meetups across major North American cities, creating more opportunities for connection and visibility. Time Commitment Flexible and impact-based. Approximately 3–6 hours per month, depending on your availability and level of involvement.

Compensation

This is a voluntary role focused on community building and leadership development. As the initiative grows, structured leadership roles and compensation opportunities may become available for ambassadors taking on larger responsibilities.
