As a Support Associate, you'll be at the forefront of this mission, working closely with our vibrant community of veterinary professionals to ensure their success and satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

As an Experienced Chat Support Associate, your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Engaging with our community of veterinary professionals through live chats, phone calls, emails, internal discussion boards, and platform demos to provide an exceptional experience on our platform
  • Collaborating with the Support Team to troubleshoot issues, resolve customer concerns, and evolve our platform to meet the needs of our users
  • Providing proactive support to help users navigate our platform, addressing their questions and concerns in a timely and professional manner
  • Working cross-functionally with other teams to identify areas for improvement and implement changes that enhance the user experience
  • Participating in ongoing training and development to stay up-to-date on the latest features and best practices for our platform

Essential Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • 1 year of relevant, customer-facing work experience, preferably in a tech or start-up environment
  • A 2-year Associate's Degree or 4-year College Degree in a related field (e.g., Communications, Business, or Computer Science)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex information in a clear and concise manner
  • Experience in chat support or a similar customer-facing role, with a strong understanding of intercom and/or other chat platforms
  • Patience and compassion when handling difficult situations, with a focus on providing empathetic and solution-oriented support
  • Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously
  • A strong desire to learn and help our customers succeed, with a growth mindset and a willingness to take on new challenges

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications are highly desirable:

  • Tech or start-up work experience, with a proven track record of delivering exceptional customer support in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience with project management tools, such as Asana or Trello, and a strong understanding of Agile methodologies
  • Familiarity with arenaflex's platform, Vetcove, and a passion for learning and improving our user experience
  • Certification in customer support or a related field, such as HubSpot or Salesforce

Compensation, Perks, and Benefits

  • Salary: $45,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience
