Job Summary
---------------- We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Data Entry Technician to join our Customs Brokerage team on a part-time basis (15-20 hours per week). As a Data Entry Technician, you will be responsible for accurately and efficiently entering customs declaration information into our operating system, verifying documents, and providing exceptional customer service. Key Responsibilities
------------------------ ### Data Entry and Customs Declaration
- Ensure accurate and timely data entry into our operating system
- Understand and identify customs documentation
- Transpose customs declaration information from documents into the customs entry system to allow for the build of a valid customs declaration
- Verify documents received for Import customs purposes are compliant and correct
### Customer Service and Communication
- Provide excellent customer service building and maintaining strong relationships both internally and externally
- Communicate clearly and concisely with customers, colleagues, and management
### Compliance and Quality Assurance
- Ensure compliance at all times to regulations
- Daily execution of workflow and department metrics
Qualifications

- Associates or Bachelors Degree
- Effective interpersonal skills, including proven abilities to listen, comprehend, and communicate clearly and concisely both verbally and in writing
- Strong organizational and prioritization skills are critical
- Proficient computer skills, including solid data entry with high accuracy rate, email, internet, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
