Job Overview

As a Customer Service Representative, you will serve as the primary contact for our customers, handling inquiries related to sales, billing, and overall customer service. Success in this position hinges on your outstanding communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to navigate our products and services with ease.

Key Responsibilities

• Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, and live chat with professionalism and friendliness.

  • Promote and sell services to both new and existing customers, while identifying opportunities for upselling.
  • Provide customers with clear information about our services, manage order processing, and handle cancellations effectively.
  • Resolve billing-related customer complaints, demonstrating a comprehensive understanding of transaction details.
  • Maintain accurate customer records in our database throughout and after each interaction.
  • Stay updated on service offerings, pricing, promotions, and changes in company policies that affect customers.
  • Process payments, apply fees, and resolve billing inquiries with efficiency.
  • Collaborate with team members to effectively tackle sales and billing challenges.
  • Manage service disconnects and reconnects for customers with late payments.
  • Exhibit active listening skills while multitasking between calls and computer systems.
  • Handle customer interactions with confidentiality and professionalism, ensuring prompt responses.
  • Cultivate positive relationships across various levels within the organization and interact professionally with management.
  • Proactively identify potential challenges and opportunities, providing solutions to customers.
  • Aim for swift resolutions to customer issues, striving for one-call resolutions when possible.
  • Adapt to diverse customer personalities, showcasing exceptional customer service skills.
  • Meet personal and team sales targets as well as call handling quotas.

Required Skills

• Proficient phone handling skills and a reliable work ethic.

  • Ability to perform calculations related to discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, and percentages.
  • Experience with CRM systems and strong computer literacy, adept at multitasking across platforms.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize effectively.
  • Bilingual candidates, particularly Spanish speakers, are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.

  • At least 2 years of customer service experience is preferred.
  • Proven experience in customer support or as a client service representative; experience in sales and billing is beneficial.
  • Familiarity with the broadband, telecommunications, and technology sectors is advantageous.
